0 more sleeps!! Prediction time!

It's blast-off time for Round Ball Footy World Cup Germany 2006!!

The official Round Ball Footy blog is inviting your predictions for the opening day.

Will Costa Rica produce the early upset against host Germany - a la Senegal-France 2002?

Round Ball Footy is predicting that the opening ceremony will produce one of the major shocks of the tournament:

the hot tip is that Black Eyed Peas will be joined on stage by the old Macarena lechers who have been secretly preparing in Malta for their reunion gig. (Didn't anyone else notice them in the crowd at the Malta-Japan friendly? I suspect they've made their way to Germany by posing as Maltese team officials.)

In other World Cup Entertainment news: Ricky Martin will be caught in a drug-fuelled homo-erotic party binge in Stuttgart - while singing The Cup of Life. There are worse ways to lose your dignity, I guess...

Anyhow, bring on your World Cup predictions. We want to hear them.
